i feel like i have made a deal with the devil. i had given my notice, and then the CEO of 'don's' calls and offers me 10 bucks an hour to stay, and i can work only 4 days a week if i like (which i wanted). i said yes but im having doubts. i dont like being bought off dammit! if you can afford to pay me 10 dollars then how come you didnt right from

Heh, I used to feel like I'd made a deal with the devil at my job because they fired one of my friends and then kept throwing money at me...

But you get used to having money really fast. :D

Besides if you decide that you still don't like it, you can always quit later.

Wow that sounded horrible. I actually felt really bad about my friend getting fired and contemplated quitting at the time. She urged me to stay, although I would have anyway b/c I don't like looking for work.
