Going home is not equivalent to running away from your problems, on the contrary, that's probably one of the best ways to clear your mind and help you to become better prepared for when you do return to Gainesville.

From what I know about the situation, as well as from my own personal experience, a trip home-- good or bad-- can almost always bring things into perspective for when you come back to town. I am highly supportive of the idea.

As much as I hate to do anything to encourage you to leave us, especially with my imminent move, a good trip home can be amazing. I spent four days at home, and just getting to hang out with all my good friends at home that I haven't seen in a while and chilling with my mom refreshed me and made me ridiculously happy. And when you're upset, it works wonders.

If you are going to run from your problems, going home is the one place it doesn't count...even if you actually are just running. I did it last summer. It didn't make the problems go away, but it gave me more support. Although, I guess that's not something you lack up here right now, but there's no shame in running home. It's a different kind of support. It's refreshing and rejuvenating.

So, whatever your choice, know that we are behind you 100%, that we will miss you tons if you leave (esp me cuz i'll possibly be gone when you get back), and that we will do whatever we can to help you!
