It's been almost a week now since my brother got dumped for the first time in his life. He's never really failed in courting a girl before, and the harsh reality is that in this case, i guess he really had some feelings for the girl

I admire your brother for that. And as for you, his Big Brother and my "tatay" Abet, here's what i have to say:
Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.
Be like him, fear not the possibility of getting hurt. And you must not fear what love could bring you. Why do you get up in the morning? Because you choose to, right? Why not choose to fight for something you love? Why not choose to be true to your heart for once, find in you the courage you never thought you had and just make the fall?
