When the idea of a movie adaptation for Vampire Academy was brought up, were you completely all for it or were you hesitant? If so what were your concerns?

Were there any actors that were specifically offered a particular role, or was all of the casting done by an open audition process?

When you visited the set, did any of the actors approach you, as the author, and ask for advice on their characters? If so, who? What did they ask and how did you respond?

Was it difficult to see someone take your creation and make a screenplay out of it? If you had the chance, would you have wanted to adapt it into a screenplay yourself (or at least co-write it)?
