Time flies when you're super busy. I've been swamped with finishing The Ruby Circle, chasing down some personal health issues, and also making plans for what's next after Bloodlines ends (stay tuned for that news). This made me insanely happy! I am also a huge fan of the show despite being a bit of a history nerd, and that makes me feel guilty. I was pretty pleased with the premier, too and loved your write of it. :D
