Heh. So everyone knows now, huh? I guess that was bound to happen sooner or later.
I can't quite get my mind off the fact that the other Sonic's Emeralds don't give him any trouble. Sally says her world's emeralds can cause even more trouble, but I get the feeling it's kinda different.
You know, that reminds me of the time Knuckles told me and Tails about where the Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald came from. It was during the Chaos incident I think.
In our world there are two goddesses who's job it is to keep the universe in one piece or something, The White Maiden, who's also called the "Great Lady of Light and Order" and the Black Maiden, aka the "Great Lady of Darkness and Chaos," Chaos was a demi-god created to guard the emeralds for them, but I'm getting ahead of myself. Anyway, Knuckles said the Black Maiden was the one who created the Chaos Emeralds. Apparently she thought something as powerful as those things would be a good way to stir up trouble, since that's basically what she does. The White Maiden created the Master Emerald to balance out the Chaos Emeralds power and to control them. They placed both under Chaos's protection and that's where they stayed until the Black Maiden tempted the Echidna tribe Knuckles' ancestors came from to try and steal them.
Knuckles says that he thinks the reason the Emeralds are so hard to control directly is because they were created by the Black Maiden. I guess since she's technically an evil goddess and everything the emeralds being so dangerous makes sense. I guess that means things must a lot more different the other Sonic's world than it seemed at first.
Kinda almost makes me jealous of him. You know? This whole alternate dimension thing is actually starting to give me a headache.
