I hope you're able to put the looming terror aside for a while and enjoy this accomplishment. I didn't even get to go to my graduation from grad school (that sounds funny) because I had to work. The real world will keep for a few days. Take some time to bask in the relief. You've earned it. :)
Thank you. :) Unfortunately I really wasn't able to relax after graduation, as we immediately had to move out of our apartment and into a new one. Plus it still hasn't sunk in yet, and I won't get the diploma for a couple more months. Now that we're moved into the new place, I plan to take a couple days to relax, then start the job search. Gulp.
Be happy that it's almost done! And remember that there is always "continuing education" and you always have the chance to take a post-grad course with some of the same people :)
My school doesn't really have continuing education courses (they don't really exist for museum studies), but hopefully we'll all see each other again soon.
I know you'll miss your classmates, but focus on the relief (and the pride, I should hope!) of finishing... and remember you're not losing them forever, and you'll surely meet more amazing people wherever you end up working *hugs*
Thanks, Elen. :) It's so weird, these past two years have gone by so fast. I'll make a proper post about graduation soon.
We totally didn't mean to get another cat, but life is weird. We brought her home today and she's doing okay, thought still freaked out.
I know I'll meet other amazing people in my life, but the thing about my classmates is that all nineteen of us melded so well into one group. There weren't cliques or rivalries or tensions, we just made one cohesive group. That's never happened to me before. It's going to be hard to adjust to not having them always around.

We'll introduce the new kitty to you on Skype soon. We brought her home today, and she's confused, but doing okay.

Clearly, your new cat has adopted you ;)
