Stacy Keach's naked white ass... blueanole September 21 2006, 05:08:48 UTC
Hey-there again. Lear was good- it's by far my favorite Shakespearian play. This was a really unique rendition. It's in a more contemporary setting, but has some really interesting ideas. I think Lear is always worth going to see- if for no other reason than seeing each director's interpretation. And Stacy Keach plays Lear- I always enjoy getting to see a big name in person, you know? I'm not sure if this was my favorite production of this play, but I'm really glad I was able to see it (it is different from any other performances I've seen, and I have been able to go to a few). So I say go for it! I was in the balchony, 3 rows from the back, and I still felt like it was a good seat. I hadn't seen the new Goodman before, but they really were able to set it up so even the cheap seats have a good view. I think the tickets are as low as $20 a piece, and it would be $20 well spent ( ... )
