As many of you already know, I have a great love both for the writings of Jane Austen and of all forms of media which involve the wholesale slaughter of the living dead.  Imagine my surprise and pleasure on discovering the recent publication of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies!  Having just finished reading the book, I now feel compelled to share my

As I find Austen unreadable (which is sad, given my love for most other Victorian authors), it seems like this book might be right up my alley, except for the horrendous editing.

Not really. Although the Austen is much abridged, there's still enough of the feel of the original that you probably still won't want to read it. Also, Austen is Regency rather than Victorian.
