We currently are sitting at 11.18" of rain this month. The average is 2.37". We're still not quite halfway through the month.

The rainiest month Seattle has ever had was 12.92"...so 11.18" is pretty insane.

I guess it's not really a surprise Mount Rainier National Park's roads/campsites/buildings have been destroyed. But still terrible.

Conventional wisdom in September was for a mild and drier than usual autumn and winter...ha!

With less than 2" of rain to go and fronts moving in every other day, I suppose it would be astonishing were we to not break the record.
