Failure to Lock (due to emo/angst/etc. >P)

Jan 24, 2008 19:07

((Late post is late. :P Backdated to just after the Canaletto/Stalker bird post.))

Is it possible that I am still as indecisive as I was two years ago? Perhaps I am weak, seeing as I was unconscious for most of the final battle.

Maybe I am powerless.... Dol Arrah, what if I am unable to keep my word? The shame would be too great....

brooding, canaletto, aikka

Aikka, it's not your fault, what happened back then. We had no idea what we were up against.

Don't believe a word he says. Canaletto will say anything to instill doubt in your heart.

You are right.... I suppose I let him hit too many of my weak points. That decrepit bird... curses on his wicked soul.

You're not the only one. He triggered Eva and a few other people, too. He's had twenty thousand years to perfect his techniques.

Don't worry. As soon as things settle down around here, I plan on trying to pinpoint his location and facing him head on. I'm tired of running and hiding. It's time I stood up to him and destroy that evil creature once and for all.

Twenty thousand years? Dol Arrah... is he staying alive simply out of spite?

Understood. I would be more than willing to join you in the fight, you have my word.

Aikka... he dropped half a temple on your head. Falling unconscious after that wasn't weak; hell, it's a miracle you didn't die.

I believe in you. I know you'll keep your word.

Half the temple? I did not think that much had fallen.... I am still thankful that I wasn't attacked while unconscious.

Thank you, Eva.

It definitely looked like it. Okay I could be slightly exaggerating, but still. So am I. You're a true friend, losing you on top of everything else that happened then would've been horrible.

You're welcome.
