Treaty discussions and Parliament sessions are not very conducive to a social life. Day in and day out listening to the officials argue and bark at each other. It is enough to give one a headache of grand proportions after sitting through an entire session. Things aren't going so smoothly in your neck of the galaxy?

Well, I'm not sure if you've heard or not, but I'm ... letting a small group of Crog rebels stay with me on Oban.

Well, it's kind of a long story, but here's the gist: a former colonel of the Crog Imperium, Kratos, failed to stop the Earth Team from participating in the Great Race three years ago. Rather than submitting honorably to execution, Kratos deserted, along with a small group of rebels. They've been traveling the galaxy, searching for a safe haven. The have begun to question the motives of the Imperium and seek a new way of life. After a lot of thinking, I've decided to let them stay on Oban. Hopefully, we'll be able to learn from one another, and maybe I can use them to avert any conflicts between the Crogs and the humans.

It seems mostly to be internal affairs. Trivial matters put into perspective of the galactic scale, to be honest.

That is simply astounding! If there were more Crogs like them, perhaps the galaxy could become a more peaceful place.
