I remember when my nieces were about 7 and 9. The eyedoctor told them they needed glasses, so they got glasses.

Then they switched doctors and the new doctor said they don't have any vision problems! The glasses were just pieces-of-glass. They are now adults and don't need any glasses at all. Scoundrel. My brother did nothing, but I would have sued the guy in small claims court to recover my money.
