I'm looking for an ID tag to buy online for Elsie. She lost her perfect, pale pink leather, tiny-studded collar with the beautiful seam work and tiniest, but not tinniest, of bells that you could hear but which never annoyed. I didn't think of that. I assumed it was enamel, the black fired on, but maybe it's not...? And what if it is, right? Maybe I could use enamel paints from a hobby shop -- those cute little paint tins that (usually) only boys get to use, but what about us giiirls? The other thing I thought later, though, is that it's not really Elsie. Maybe next time Kenji needs a new tag. He could totally pull it off. ("That's what she said.") Elsie needs something dainty like a floral. Or saucy.
