It felt like the longest storm of her life. Here she was, five years old again, hiding under the bed with eyes shut tight to the flashing light around her. She shivered, completely numb to the world around her and clutched the most important thing in her life to her chest in that 8 inch high space. She hoped to ...whatever that Harry and Neville would get there soon, to calm that shaking thunder and blinding light.
That comfort in her arms was growing cold, and her tears weren’t helping.
She knew she’d lose everything if she lost this love.
