I'm glad I count as a real man, then. I'd far rather stop and clarify any mixed messages or things I'm not completely certain about - not for fear of impropriety, but because I want to make damned sure that the woman I'm with is freely consenting to being with me, doing things with me and hopefully enjoying every moment of it. The thought of hurting someone who I like enough to be intimate with is horrible.

I just wish more people cared as much as they should about consent.
