Paper journals run out of space which is good because usually the writer fills one, observes, grows, learns, and moves on to another. When you get stuck in the Live Journal rut, your in the same place for years. I've outgrown bluechaosSoooooo, thanks for the ( Read more... )

Sorry to see you go. I may not be the best commentor in the world, but I did read. It's always sad to see someone leave, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Best of luck with whatever it is you do now(as trite and year-booky as that sounds). Be well. And don't forget to come out of a giant book at some point in your life, because everyone needs to. =)

Your words ring so true. I have felt lately that, with LJ, the accumulation of entries creates such an overflow that earlier ones just become lost. It isn't anything like flipping through pages -- it is meticulous click click clicking. I really would like a hardcopy of my journal...and an end, sometime.
