so it seems as though girls who go to columbia do not have periods. currently, i'm in my digital class and i've just sat back down at my computer after a 15 minute quest to find a goddamn tampon machine that actually works. i've been up and down 11 flights of stairs and nothing.... so i'm bleeding all over myself right now. all over the chair, ( Read more... )

yeah, it's disgusting alright. so maybe they should MAKE THE GODDAMN TAMPON MACHINES WORK so i don't have to be so disgusting :)

i think all forms of birth control and tampons should be free.

I soooo agree, but that will never happen. Its not like we can prevent having periods and its expensive buyin all the prodcuts needed for em so at least we should get some assistance. And birth control is becoming more and more expensive to get if you dont have insurance to pay for it. I know that here, at CMU, the price jsut went up from $15 to $23 in the course of one week. And that difference is a really big deal after a year. Its just so stupid, but there are too many people taht turn it into a moral/ethic issue for it to ever be free...
