This is sad, but not suprising. If one thinks God not only wants, but directs a way of thinking, then it's always OK.

I hope you're feeling OK. I enjoyed reading about St. Louis in your last post ... wish the trip in general had been better for you guys.

You related part of the story: organizations are discussing: how to take a hard-line theological position on homosexuality while showing compassion toward gay people and their families.

This may be hard for you to accept, but good is coming out of these situations my dear friend.

While these organizations are taking the hard line, people on the other of the fence are learning two things.

First, Christianity has based all this hate on PURPOSELY mistranslated passages of scripture. I'm not going to give you the whole latin to greek to hebrew handjob. But, here is a juicy tibit, most of the times the bible claims that St. Paul was speaking about all mo's everywhere, he was talking about a particular type of homo -- the pagan temple male prostitutes who he consistantly refered to as dogs. The truth is slowly coming out. And the people of God are becoming very annoyed whe the church for lying.

Second, those same People of God are learning that they can live healthy happy lives apart from the church. The truth always comes out.
