My (second) GameCube finally showed up yesterday, and I spent far too much time playing Skies of Arcadia Legends last night to test it out. Yes, I did.

You haven't seen this much, but I have a serious Pirate jones. Along with Skies of Arcadia, I also have Pirates - The Legend of Black Kat for the PS2, and virtually every pirate game ever released for the PC in some form.

My real-life pirate ambitions were quashed when I discovered that I cannot sail worth beans, but that has never stopped me from plundering the Spanish Gold Fleet in my daydreams.
