It's so sad. One of my dear friends has started sliding down the path that leads to irrational villain supporting, slash blindness (occurs when people cannot see that characters are straight even being given canon evidence) and hero hating

who is this dear friend? i don't think that i've met her. but if i had, i would say that she probably knows that such things don't happen in canon, that she isn't blind, and that she does not in fact hate the heros. heros are good. heros are not perfect. heros are not meant to be perfect.

and i think that this dear friend of yours would never write badfic with her as a main character, because she just isn't vain enough. i also think that she will not become a corax clone, and start to defend all villains.

i think that you, as one of her dear friends, should accept this new healthy interest, and should support her in her endeavors. unless, of course, the impossible does occur and she starts to write really bad fics, with mary sues. or if she starts to defend every villain that she comes across, in a decidedly corax-esque manner
