Oh yeah...I know how long it takes for dogs to lose that fresh smell. About two minutes, right?
LOL
We have a gardener who does our heavy pruning for us on the bigger trees that we don't feel young enough to do any more. He always stands back and studies the tree. He told me that he's picturing in his mind how it would look if he lops this or that branch off.

Yep, that's exactly what the instructor said. And sometimes, he says, you just have to go with your gut instinct. You just take a deep breath and lop it!

They filled it in with stone and gravel. Hopefully it will last through today, but by the looks of things out there, I doubt it.

I'm a worry wart. I'm glad to know you could make it over that mess.:)

Is the weather bad there today? The news makes it seem like you all are having a hard time down there, is that the case?

We're suppose to get another storm tonight...but, up here the weather people get "it" wrong everytime.

We're suppose to get some heavy rain again and thunderstorms and they also have another high wind watch out for tonight. Typical March weather. It's just that the roads are thawing and on dirt roads that causes so much heaving. The road commissioner called to ask me if things were ok for now. Yea I said, but as soon as it dries out a bit, they have a lot of work to do.

I just hope our bridge holds out until then. *Sigh*
