I didn't go to prune yesterday, had to many things to do around the house. And besides I need at least one day to rest. I did 7 loads of laundry and cleaned the kitchen. I got to watch the race and take a two hour nap. I think my day was very productive ( Read more... )

I've been interested in bonsai on and off for a while. Actually, I have a small bonsai here at home, a starter, just a 5 year old ficus retusa (weeping fig) which is an easy one to practice one and I won't cry if it dies.

What would you bake?

I heard that ficus retusa is a good starter plant.

I like breads, like banana, date and nut, that sort of thing.

Yes, what WOULD you bake? And do you have to have the health dept. approve you for selling food publically? I'm so interested in this, watching you grow business-wise

Yea I know about the health department, this is the reason why right now is not a good time to start that side of the business. But if and when, it would be breads, lots of breads, and cookies. I am a good pie maker but never learned to make dough. So I usually use the store bought kind.

You were busy!
I remember how hard it was to work and come home and keep up with housework. I was blessed, because my husband helped out and as the children became old enough, they would wash and put away the dishes.

I wish I could give you some of my free time, on my end I have to much right now!

I hope things shift around for the better soon!
