Yesterday was my 28th birthday. And it was strangely cemented at the gym this morning. I have this amazing place to study on the 4th floor of one of the libraries here on campus. I access it via key and id card. It's spectacular and cozy and quiet. At GVSU people wrote all over the sidewalks with chalk to announce club happenings, speakers, etc. Here at Purdue, people put flyers on the ground and tape the shit out of them to keep them in place. Have you seen the new GAP ads? There she is, cute little Audrey Hepburn dancing around in her black "skinny" pants. First, I hate the skinny pant - almost as much as I hate "super low rise" jeans. Okay, so has anyone else seen those Vanity Fair pictures of Suri? I was kind of hoping that she wouldn't be so adorable. Seriously, she's such a beautiful baby! Tom Cruise strikes again!

I have to say that I was totally shocked and saddened by the news of Steve Irwin's death. Not that I knew the man personally or anything, but anyone who loves animals like he did is pretty awesome in my book.
