Really, there are only so many people from your old class you talk to or that even want to talk to you. Whether or not you were close to them @ Brandies is beside the point. Fact is, theres always a chance for growing closer. Furthermore, one would suggest that wasting a friendship over a stupid coment on some website wouldn't really be worth ruining the 4 years you had nor the potential friendships--or friendliness you could've had. You sounded downright parental when you said "you both know perfectly well..." and one could picture you waving your finger at the "Shame on you, syd."
The icing on the cake was, however "I thought you were a better person than that. I guess not." Thats so... so stereotypical Jewish of you, really.
And also, the image the city kids have of us is right. We are concieted. We are materialistic. (Who's to say they aren't either though?) And as for yuppie.... that stands for Young Urban Professional. Which, applies to no one in this situation.

this is maia again just to say that i was not talking about u holden or any other people when i said that stuff and that is was really nice of U throw her these parties and i think we all appreciated being invited. i did not judge sydney when i first met her, only after she said that shit about people who she knew nothing about. i went a little over the top but i think i have right to be pissed. i just wanted to get that out.
