 There is something about the song "Night swimming" by R.E.M. that always reminds me of home and makes me feel so happy.

 I have a serious knitting addiction. Tonight I started my first pair of socks. I should be reading for class. I guess I'll have to catch up on Rousseau tomorrow.

 Sometimes I just want to run away to some sparsely populated area with a nice temperate climate and good soil. I'll start a garden, an orchard and raise a few animals. I wouldn't have Internet access, but I will have all the books and yarn my heart desires. I'd also have a bow and arrow so I can pretend to be Robin Hood. Today is one of those days

 I'm thinking about starting a hope chest full of baby knits. I have no baby plans in the near future, but I know that once I was born my mom didn't have time to knit anymore.  I seriously think that I  am allergic to my apartment. I only sneeze here.

I've been sick for 5 days and I feel like I'm still in a haze. My cough is getting better and my ears have stopped popping constantly or at least less painfully, but my mind feels like it's disconnected. How can I study like this? When will it go away? Everett has the same thing and has been sick two days longer than I have. I hate viruses.
