It’s not like Jared hasn’t seen Jensen drunk before.

Hell, they’re both Texan boys born and bred. They were pining for a Budweiser even when they were wearing poopy diapers and guzzling bottled formula.

It’s just; Jensen’s not normally this drunk and it’s not that Jared’s Mr. Perfect or anything - he’s had the fucking Lord Voldemort of all hangovers in the past - but right now, he’s actually starting to feel a little out of his depth

Jared doesn’t know what makes him follow Jensen upstairs, save for the fact that he really doesn’t want to wake up in the morning and find his best friend dead, face-down in a pool of vomit. Talk about traumatised for life
