What is the equivilant of C18 on the New York Times website? I'm afraid the actual paper is hard to come by in Italy....

They had this incredible article about four architectute students who discovered they could fit a mattress in a hole cut into the wall above the door (much like those in Lafayette). They attempted to rent the mattress space for $35 a month on Craigslist.
