[rl with Ys] touchy-feely-tiem.

The Netslum was, next to a few of the Lost Grounds, probably the place in The World where Kite felt most at home. Maybe it was because of the other broken and neglected data running around. Remains of modified characters, as well as hackers and all sorts of strange people. Not many people looked at him twice, here. One of them even approached him ( Read more... )

Yuca came to attached to his computer, feeling nauseous and weak. He never slept, but, it seemed his body had shut down again. How long have I been staring at the screen...wait, that program. The Artificial Self Program was running on its own, and on the screen, he was walk towards Kite.

This isn't where we met before...

The closer the AI got to his friend, the better he felt.

Ys?
...this was odd. Kite had thought that his friend would tell him beforehand when he was planning to visit. Wait, didn't Karen post something about-
He swung his legs across and got off of the fence-like thing he had been sitting on and approached Ys, giving him a worried look.

What's wrong...?
even the AI-Ys looked.... distraught. Something was wrong.

AI-Ys approached faster, and the closer he came, the more comfortable Yuca became. Leaning back in his chair in relief, because even if he didn't like it, at least it was bearable...when a sharp pain stabbing his chest and he doubled over, slamming his head into the keyboard.

The pain stopped, though the mashing of the keys sent his AI into a flurry of flailing limbs.

"I..." he panted, trembling a little. Even faint, the mic picked up his voice. "...don't know."

Ys started to flail wildly, and Kite grabbed him by the shoulder, crouching down slightly - as if he wanted to catch a hint of facial expression on the projection of him. (Well, with any of the technology from his own world, that would have been reasonable... but not the way Yuca was playing here.)
Though mainly he really just wanted to calm him down. ...whatever this was, it was definitely not good.
