Oh my god, this is great. You captured them both so well. The fragility of their relationship is so clear and real. Reid's metaphor is gorgeous. I love the episode callbacks--the star puzzle, trying to be more conversational--and the way that the line "[...]one of the first where the person touching her didn't want to hurt her" continues the parallels between "Revelations" and "Lauren" that were set up in the episode.

Argh basically, this is WONDERFUL and I really hope you write more CM fic soon! :D
