I admit I'm probably taking this moving thing harder than I thought I would. I absolutely cannot think of my two cats without sobbing. I don't know why. I do really miss my parents and my friends, but for some reason its the thought of my cats that get to me. Hey woman! We miss you up here too! The adjustment is going to be rough and it'll be hard until you start making friends at work, too. Hopefully you can get an animal while you're down there? Maybe an alpaca would suit you well.

I'm sure things will get better, given time...
I mean, in order to be together, one of you had to make the move, otherwise nothing would ever progress.
Like the previous person said, I'm sure you'll start feeling better when you start meeting people.
This is a whole new situation, one you're not used to.

You'll be cool, Casey. It just takes time to adjust. I remember just moving out to D.C. was really weird at first (and yes, even though I was living with my dad, I'd never really lived outside of South Bend)...and then I grew to love it like crazy and I can't wait to go back.

New places, new faces, but it'll be boss.

I'm really excited for you. :D
