Scary 1940's mad scientist woman... Sigh...

So, I was looking through an online govt. database of photos from the 1940's for a picture for a character I'm running in a Cthulhu campaign, and I ran across this. Since my character is a 32 year old ugly Italian man, this won't work for him, but Damn! She struck me as such a 1940's mad scientist woman!

According to the documentation, she's with the Weather service. The caption reads:

Washington, D.C. The U.S. Weather Bureau station at the National Airport. Following the course of a pilot balloon through the atmosphere with a theodolite instrument which measures the position.

Here's the image:

Come on, can't you see her saying "Yes lord Ming, I they're coming into range now!"
