Friends Only for Now

If by some chance, you're a regular reader who is unknown to me, or know me from my postings to other ljs and wish to befriend me, please let me know here, at this entry.

Don't worry if my replies etc are a little slow, as I am only on a dial up modem just now, until I can get the broadband sorted out properly. It takes ages in the UK to get this sort of thing done.

What an unexpected pleasure, was thinking about you and wondering how the move was going *^_^*

How is the new place? Have you finished unpacking yet? (asked in mock seriousness, I do know better *grins*)

Now, as to why I've gone friends only, it's only my paranoia acting up. I found out that Google has a new search engine specifically geared towards blogs, and that scared me a bit, since I used it to look myself up.

Why do people go friends only? Are people harrassing you?

I can't speak for anyone else's reasons, but with me, it was just a touch of my paranoia. I learned recently that google was offering a new search engine strictly for bloggs and out of curiosity I tried mine, using both "bluehorse" and the netname I usually go under. Both brought up journal entries. Now, there are some people out there I don't want reading my nonsense, so if any of them get to wondering if I had a journal, I didn't want them having access. It would cause me too much aggravation.

So, if you would like me to befriend you so you can peruse my stuff, even though we don't comment to each other regularly, there's no problem. If not, again, no problem. I know you're an interesting, intelligent person...so whatever you prefer, is fine with me. Okay? *^_^*

Actually, I friended you a long time ago, but for some reason a few of the blogs I've friended don't come up on my friend's page, you being one of them.
