When I was "supposed" to study for classes, I'd go in the UCLA library and try to read. But that never happened. There is something about the lighting in there that induces sleep almost immediately. There is something about that room. If you doubt my wisdom, please go into Powell and count the number of heads on the table, sleeping. Zzzzzzzzzzz
I am confident that it is a mixture of the lighting and the strange sound in that room. Go into any Barnes and Noble and you will not see the same reaction from book patrons.

yeah, itd be really hard for me to count heads, cuz whenever im in Powell, i'm one of them. except i get a nice comfy lil couch...was almost late for class on thursday due to that damn place! ;)

Well, if UCLA was willing to pay me a hefty sallary, and give me an interesting title (i.e., UCLA Lights and Sound Optimization Administrator), I would be very willing to help modify the place to decrease the chance that you will fall asleep. Then again, isn't it more fun to fall asleep on your calculus book?
