Sharks got pounded 5-1 in Detroit tonight, so hopefully they'll be nice and tenderized when they come into our house tomorrow. And Nabokov was in goal tonight, so it's likely we'll see their backup. I like our chances.

 Dallas Stars a 3-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday night before the smallest crowd to watch an NHL game at Nationwide Arena.

Lost in the last 5 minutes. Uggh!  I can't stand it.  Who want to go see that!  Thank God, I was home watching 'Bionic woman." and just fliping to check this score. 

Anyone else excited? I'm so stoked, but it sucks I have to work that night. I might try to go anyway. Hooray for $10 seats...maybe I can operate the spotlights.

 I've been given ticket to take my daughter on Sunday to the pre-season opener.  I can't wait.  I know I shouldn't be getting my hopes up but I'm excited.  Let's go Jackets.

So the Jackets (and the rest of the NHL, as well as the NFL) are getting rid of Rock N Roll Part 2...because I'm sure no one wants to pay royalties to a pervert.

As much as I will miss the "we're gonna beat the shit outta you" chant, they do need something new. The four choices aren't very good, but oh well.

Well it's a good thing we've stockpiled a bunch of career minor-leaguers on two-way contracts to fill that hole. Else I'd be worried.

EDIT: There is a silver lining, as his departure frees up money to sign a free-agent center or d-man such as Michael Peca or Danny Markov.
