Another family tragedy thanks to the automobile. A cousin of R's bit it Wednesday. Fortunately(?) we had no relationship owing to his total indifference. Still there'll be lots of phone calls and some angst in the home

i'm sorry about your loss.
I have to agree with you about the pope's death. it's sad in a way that hen any human dies it's sad, but i disagree with a lot of the things he said

...anyway i hope your angst at the your home ends soon.

mmm . . . Global warming is a myth. The main motive, I believe that it is being pushed so strongly by some is money. Yeah, that's right, money. But I do not want to get into a debate and possible confrontation on the subject. And besides if it is true, which to some extent it might be, in that the earth does go through stages of warming & cooling regardless, it would mean among other things that at least here in Washington D.C. (where I live) the climate will become semi tropical and hey, I could live with that. And countries like Russia & Canada would become the World's new Bread Baskets. Of course some Island Nations may disappear under the Sea, but hey, that's Nature. The future of Mankind lies off the planet anyway. I mean, even under the most ideal conditions this planet of ours has 6 billion people on it now. By 2050 it is projected, barring unforeseen events, that the Earth's population will reach 12 Billion ! So enjoy the wild's of Earth while you can and lobby your congressman to push for more funding for NASA !!! Later . . .
