Friday was a nice hot day and I needed to get out so I got my bike and leisurely pedaled towards a yard sale R had already been to. She said there was a computer there. I took my time getting there, enjoying the breeze and all. The puter was already gone so I kept going, sort of to this other yard sale farther away. I kept thinking I wouldn't go ( Read more... )

Yeah. Nature good. Uh oh. You said the c word. Naughty naughty. I'm going to report you to Min. Chicago was actually a big pain in the ass puntuated by frenzied hopefulness which never fully materialized. I'm probably still carrying some of the lead from 70's car fumes I got there. I guess I learned enough while there to get the heck out so that was a good thing. My birthday is the 29th so I have some Gemini traces. Let's see...you were born the day after I was playing in a band concert for an outdoor play of the life of Stephen Foster. Or was it Daniel Boone?

Hiya new lj friend! I added you a few days ago because I enjoy reading your lj.

Yes, those cartridges are expensive, but you can go to some computer stores or even walmart and they'll sell you just the ink. Then you drill a tiny hole in the old cartridge and pour the new ink in it. It's really cheap...it's like $10.00 for a pack of 2 or 3 ink bottles and it beats paying probably about $100.00 worth of the same ink in cartridges. You can buy the ink online too. I bought some, but never got around to using it because I hardly EVER use my printer and thus never run out of ink ;p
