Our TV was in the shop for about 3 weeks. It has had some funny colors, high-pitched squealing, and the picture isn't quite straight. I figured we should have someone look at it before the extra warranty we bought runs out. I think we actually had plenty of time for that. I have a new word I'd like to share. Taking (totally stealing) a page from millenia's vocab posts:

adfarct (n.): An section of a website or other user interface that is useless or worthless due to the collection of too many ads. Also, adfarction, adfarcted.

Useage: That website has such a severe adfarction, I can't stand to go there.
