I'm incredibly lucky to have received three wonderful mixes for this fic. I love all of them and I'm so grateful to xxlalaliexx, loreleilynn and amy13 for taking the time to make these for me. I think they all did a brilliant job of capturing the feeling of the fic, and some of my favourite songs have been included, and a whole lot of songs I wasn't familiar with, but now love. I really adore this mix- I'd only heard one or two of the songs before, and so it was wonderful to hear these other songs for the first time. I think the Queen song fits perfectly as an opening track and the last song is just so beautiful and one of the ones I'd never heard before, but am glad I have now. Thank you so much, xxlalaliexx! He has a nasty suspicion that this motel has both a casino and chapel attached and he vaguely remembers saying “Dude, we should go to a casino” last night.
2. Beautiful World - Coldplay
“They can handle having a gay son, they can handle having a gay son with a husband. But I don't think they could handle me breaking those vows.”
3. IO (This Time Around) - Helen Stellar
“I'm glad you're here, Spence,” Brendon says, wrapping his arms around Spencer. Spencer hugs him back, smiling as Brendon's hair tickles his nose.
4. Gonna Make You Love Me - Ryan Adams
Brendon leans in towards Spencer a little, and for a crazy moment Spencer thinks he's going to kiss him. But it's more than that- there's a part of Spencer that wants Brendon to kiss him and he's not entirely sure where these thoughts are coming from, out of the blue like this.

Brendon laughs and presses a kiss between Spencer's eyes. “I've got the best little housewife in the world,” he says to Ryan and Jon, and climbs to his feet. “Don't be long,” he adds. “Else I'll be fast asleep, sprawled across the whole bed and you'll have to sleep on the floor.”

He's not sure what to call the ugly, clawing monster that stirs suddenly inside him, but Spencer's pretty sure if he were to ask, it'd tell him it's name is jealousy. Which makes no sense. None of this makes sense

Whether it's because he wants to avoid an awkward conversation or because he doesn't want Brendon to sleep with anyone, he's still not sure although more and more he's beginning to admit to himself there are feelings that he has no right to be having.

“We could watch something else, if you want?” Brendon suggests and Spencer realizes that Brendon should still be watching the movie, should be getting his rocks off somehow.

He can't stop looking at Brendon, who is looking back with nothing but love in his eyes. Later he'll have to check the video Shane took to see what random and potentially worrying promises Pete's throwing in, but Spencer's sure he'd have promised them anyway.
