I told myself I'd post monthly with pictures of the jewellery I've been making, but for various reasons I failed to do that for March and before I knew it it was May already, so here's a few highlights from the past couple of months

Both those names are taken! Which is part of my problem, I guess! I actually figured I should use the name I've been using to buy a couple of things with, since it'll look good to have some positive feedback on there to start with, so I suppose I should just have a shop name based around that! But thank you for your suggestions!
I have all these ~ideas, it's kinda ridiculous. Like how I want to get a friend to design me a logo, and how I want to get wee stickers printed up, and wee business cards, because apparently I am lame and also I hate doing things by halves. But right now I'm sitting here costing out the things I'm going to put on to sell immediately and preparing to sit and measure everything and just...yeah. I think I overthink things!
Sorry, didn't mean to ramble at you. What I meant to say was thank you! :D
ramble away, darling, you know i'll listen. I'd half hoped that the easy ones would hav ebeen missed since everyone would have thought that they were taken, but. of course, no such luck. But then, I haven't figured out my own etsy shop name, either, so. i suppose i'm not one to talk. XD
Too bad your name isn't Brooke, bc I'm rather fond of Baubling Brooke. Why yes, I did just gpo there.
I love this stuff! I would easily pay between 20-30$ for the black and white pearl bracelet, 30-50$ for the purple stone set (depending on the materials and what the stones are), 10-15$ for the first pair of flower earrings, (plus 20$ for the single flower with the crystal as a necklace) and at least 30$ for the turqoise. :) some might say I price high, but I go for quality and how much it would go for in the stores around here.
Thank you so much for the feedback! I obviously have the added difficulty of having to convert into US$ and I was worried that the amount I was thinking was reasonable here wouldn't translate into US, but it seems to be in line (well, a little bit lower) than the numbers you suggest. So thank you for that- it was very, very helpful indeed!
Also lol at the name. That would be a great name for a shop!
I would be so grateful for you to design me a logo! I was going to email you when I came up with a name, which I think I have now, so I'll send you an email later, if that's okay!
I am very lucky to have wonderfully helpful friends!
I love imperfect pearls so much. I think they always look fake if they're too perfect and I think it looks much more interesting when they're all bumpy.
I wish I could make a bazillion dollars! But I will settle for making enough to buy more beads n things! :)
Your purple stones, are in fact, blue goldstone. They're not natural; they're coloured glass with copper flecks inside them. First made in the Middle Ages, the stuff was very popular, and can be very beautiful. But strictly speaking, goldstone is just glass. It comes in copper/gold, the blue you've got, and recently a shade of green.
Your blue focal pendant there looks like it may be dyed agate. If it's very very lightweight, it could also be dyed shell.
The pendant isn't lightweight and is a similar weight to another pendant I have which is definitely agate so that seems to be most likely.
I had no idea the purple beads were goldstone and that they were manmade! They were sold to me as semi-precious gemstones (although very cheap) so now I'm a bit wary of other items I bought from the same shop.
Thank you for the info though. Definitely very useful and much appreciated!
