Puck licking Finn's hand was so wonderful as well as them kissing above Sam. Just great hints at a established relationship.
I was intrigued by this little line:
“It’s cool,” he says, patting Sam’s shoulder reassuringly. “Puck knows the guy on the door. I think he cleans his pool or something.”
Has Puck's "pool-cleaning" business gone coed? I love the visual of that if it's so. But then I really have a kink for Puck/casual prostitution.

I'm glad you liked the hints of the established relationship between Finn and Puck- I guess in my head I like to think they're boyfriends who don't know it yet. :)
And idk, I think maybe Puck's pool cleaning business has been co-ed for a long time. He's in it for the money and the dudes pay well so it's not like it's gay or anything, right? ;)
Thank you so much for reading and for the lovely comment!

Oh yeah, I love those hints at a relationship. They could go a long time not realizing they're actually "together" which makes it even more endearing.
Oh absolutely...if you get paid it doesn't matter if you're going down on some guy or he's doing ya...it's all totally a business transaction ;) Oh hooker!Puck, how I love you so.

This was pretty much all I could ever want in P/F/S fic. (And holy crap was it hot!)
I'm a sucker for backstory that isn't completely explained/detailed and this has it in spades. I love all the hints of what happened in Sam's past, the possible reasons why he moved in the first place, etc. I love the undercurrent of yearning for this unnamed guy.
This was wonderful! ♥

I'm really pleased you liked the vague backstory- I wasn't sure if that would translate well but I quite like keeping it vague, leaving it up to the reader to fill in the gaps if they want to, or just to catch glimpses of Sam's past in his memories.
I'm really so pleased you enjoyed this. Thank you for reading!

I'm glad you liked the vagueness of Sam's backstory too, and that the filtering of Finn and Puck's relationship through someone else's eyes worked for you.
Thank you so much for reading! :D
