Week of EPIC Recap (finally)

I’ve been putting off this recap for a couple of reasons. One, limited internet access. Two, recapping it and posting meant that it was over and as long as I didn’t do that, in a way, it still wasn’t over. Three, I don’t remember everything. Four, recaps and videos have already been posted.

( This took my entire life (3 weeks) and is very long and very image heavy. I hope you enjoy!! )

My friend Shannon has some, I think. I don't know how well they turned out and the cabin was a mess so she might have deleted them.

But really the cabin wasn't that bad. It was more of a two person cabin that we put three people in. With only two people we would have had more room.

Eric is just so damn awesome. I really wish that instead of going to the Cocktails with Henry even they had that he'd gone to NaP. I'm so bummed that there aren't any more chances to get to meet him and chat with him a bit.

It was indeed epic. This recap doesn't even begin to cover how epic.

I could have been wearing a helmet cam (like someone on the ship literally was) for both weekend and it still wouldn't have captured all the epicness of the events.

I forgot to also mention that the "family portrait" is so very, very awesome. Those two deserve all the loyal fans they have (maybe not the crazy ones, but you know!)

I was kind of bummed that I didn't get to talk much to Jake, just at luncheon. This just means that we're destined to meet again, right? Y/Y?!

And damn! Van looks fit in that picture of him leaning over the table. Gives me great motivation to hit the gym. So insanely jealous that you got to meet Colleen. She is fierce and fabulous, and all things amazing. And yes, I too would kill to look as good as she does. Period.

I didn't get to meet Colleen, though. I just snuck a picture of her. I would have loved to have met her, but oh well.

Yes, you will move to NY and become BFFs with them (despite them moving to LA soon) and then I'll come out and we can sit around and drink and be awesome together, all four of us. :P

D'oh! I guess Colleen was the girl who got away from us both. Sadface.

And Van just can't move to LA! He CAN'T! He's so New York that it hurts. And Jake! It's totally selfish of me but I want him to live in New York for forever and stay best friends with Van. When I move to NYC they'll both see how awesome I am and know that they can't move away. And then you'll come visit me and they'll bask in our shared awesomeness.

Looks like you had tons of fun! I can't for the life of me figure out what fandom the cruise was about though, can you enlighten me?

It was Rock the Soap. It was a cruise with handful of soap actors and a bunch of fans.

For me, my fandom is the Nuke fandom which is part of the As the World Turns fandom. Nuke are Luke and Noah, daytime's first gay couple. They're MY super couple and the one couple whose entire history I know. The two guys pictured the most are Van Hansis (the blond, Luke) and Jake Silbermann (the brunette, Noah).

They've taken over my life. :)
