We moved Scooter to the new house two weeks ago and he's been MIA almost ever since. We've been walking the neighborhood calling his name, checking the animal shelter, leaving food out etc. Not a sight of him in almost two weeks. I'm starting to feel like I'm never going to see him again.

Parents are coming in to town tonight to check out the new house. Hopefully it will be stress free and involve them buying me a grill.
All the furniture is moved. Very strange.

OMG I live in fucking suburbia. A woman walked up to my car window yesterday as I pulled out of the driveway and told me about the "crime watch" program she initiated. Apparently she's going to "stop by later" with some paperwork for us to fill out. Good lord, lol.

Just waiting on two more things. The close appointment is 9am on Tuesday, so essentially in about 85 hours I will be a homeowner. Life sure is an adventure.

I feel like I'm going to be holding my breath for the next week until those keys are in my hands. I don't typically get any kind of anxiety - but this sort of waiting game is the type of situation that will cause it. I'm just going to think happy thoughts and hope the week goes by smoothly and quickly.

I'm going on a cruise to Mexico in 6 days. How fucking crazy is that? House is being inspected on Friday. Ball is rolling.
