So, Tuesday night I called Kate in a fit of writers block and asked her to describe for me the scene of a typical fatal traffic collision. Not that a fatal traffic collision is ever typical in any sense, which is kind of why I'm (trying) to write about one, but that is beside the point. That is an example of Morisette irony, as its just an unfortunate coincidence. It would be ironic if she was speaking to you about how cell phones cause most accidents and then rear ended someone. Irony is the incongruity of a person's words and the person's actions or meanings.

Well, I WAS at a stoplight waiting for it to turn green. Then that a**hole in front of me (who was passed out or something) like, let his foot of the clutch or something. Didn't even turn around or straighten up, not till his car bounced off mine again. Then he floored it. The police said someone called in a few minutes after I called CHP and said that a car matching the description I had given them was driving recklessly on 101-S. I still haven't heard from the Novato PD regarding the issue. I'm thinking maybe i should drop it... I don't know, what do you think?
Anyway, I'm never talking to you about car accidents again while I'm driving EVEN with my hands-free headset!!!
