It's been a while since I had a physical address book or calendar - I skipped the filofax entirely - but it's only very recently that I've felt the migration to electronic form is stabilising enough to be worth spending time messing with ( Read more... )

I've got an iPhone for personal use and a work Blackberry. They both do pretty much the same thing - sync everything with everything, although I don't need the Blackberry to sync with my google calendar so I've no idea if it's any good at that.

I have to say I much prefer the iPhone, because of the interface. The Blackberry isn't even as easy to use as my old Palm Pilot.

I do need to edit my contacts andy tidy them up, but I can that from my Mac. Ultimately I think Android might be an iPhone killer solely because Android Java is much easier the iPhone Objective-C.

Been doing it for ages - first with a succession of Psions and then Sony Ericsson phones. All of them have either been backed up or synched with my Mac.
The only downside is that entries accumulate; my contact list has 1600 cards...
