Who: Josephine (
fashionistarose ) and Rahal (
bluelamphinian )
What: Rahal gets a makeover
Where: Josephine's room/work room
When: just before Rahal's
post Josephine: *walking up to the Dragon Calvary Rider* Excuse me, Sir Rahal?
Rahal: *he blinked, surprised to see the fashion diva* Ah, Lady Josephine. *slight nod* How may I help you?
Josephine: I was hoping if you could help me with a teeny tiny favor.
Rahal: Oh, certainly, Lady Jospehine. What is it?
Josephine: Well, I have created an outfit, but Roy's still too young to carry it off, so I was wondering if you care to model it for me? while I make some adjustments and find the right accessories?
Rahal: *well, that doesn't sound so bad!* Well, I don't see why not, Lady. I shall be glad to help.
Josephine: *gushing* OH! Thank you sir Rahal! *takes his hand* Let's go! *starts dragging him to her room*
Rahal: *can't help but laugh and comes along* It must be quite something for you to be so excited, Lady Josephine.
Josephine: It is FASHION! *that should explain everything* I am as passionate about my work as you are yours, sir Rahal.
Rahal: Fair enough, Lady.
Josephine: *pulls him into her room and shuts the door and begins to bussel around the room* Strip to your underwear, please.
Rahal: I... excuse me?
Josephine: Strip, you can't put on clothes without taking the ones you have on off now can you?
Rahal: Oh, no, I suppose not. *he slowly strips down to his underwear as instructed, setting the folded clothes aside and feeling a bit awkward*
Josephine: *takes only the smallest of moments to enjoy the view be for handing him the ones he is to wear* Here you go. *goes back to gathering items.
Rahal: [he works into the clothing bit by bit] Is this right Lady Jospehine?
Josephine: *peers over at him* Yes, that's right. Turn around, I want to make sure it's ok in the back.
Rahal: *he nods and turns, staring at the door since it's rude to look about a lady's room*
Josephine: Hmmm.... Do they feel comfortable?
Rahal: Oh quite, Lady Josephine. Like... like butter melting on toast. It's a poor description, I know, but I'm afraid I'm not the genius with clothes you are.
Josephine: *beams* Very good. Not too tight are they? They are meant to cling a little.
Rahal: No. I can move just fine. *lifting and stretching a leg*
Josephine: Excellent, now the shirt... Perhaps a belt around the waist might be nice, so it doesn't look so limp. *goes and gets a belt and begins to put it around him* Hold still.
Rahal: [holds his arms up and remains still] This outfit is for Roy, Lady?
Josephine: I do not think he can carry this outfit. His shoulders are not as broad as yours.
Rahal: [he looks down, actually examining the shirt and finds himself somewhat embarrassed, as the v-neck exposes far to much of his chest and along the line of the v and the cuffs were - good Sun, were those RUFFLES? Yes, yes they were] Well... thank you, Lady Jospehine, I think.
Josephine: Hmm... How do you feel about a choker?
Rahal: Choker, my lady?
Josephine: A callor, Sir Roog wore one. Though the one I'm thinking of is more elegant. *walks over and pulls one out. It's simple, black with a silver pendent with a craving of a rose on it* Try this on.
Rahal: [Oh, right. Roog had worn one..] Um, all right, as you say. [He reached out and fastened the collar about his neck] Does it suit the outfit?
Josephine: Yes, I believe it does. Still needs something though... Ahah!
Rahal: [Waiting patiently, honestly a bit worried over how he looks]
Josephine: Bands! *brings back two laceable leather armbands* Now put these on while I get the last thing, oh, and would you mind letting your hair down? *bussles off*
Rahal: [holds the bands in his teeth as he undoes his hair, then laces on the armbands, glad they were not much more difficult than lacing his bracers]
Josephine: *comes back with a tube and pours some of it on her hand* OK hold still. *begins to apply the contents to his chest.*
Rahal: Um, might I ask what you are doing, Lady Josephine? [he was sure he was just in here for a clothes fitting, not... this]
Josephine: Body glitter. Seeing if completes the outfit. *continues to apply.*
Rahal: Body.... glitter?
Josephine: Yes! *steps back* Hmmm... may I see your face.
Rahal: [looks up at her, wondering what he's gotten himself into]
Josephine: *applying some just around the eyes.* There we go! No look in the mirror! My I think it's rather glamorous!
Rahal: [slowly turns and goes to the mirror.... and the pants are nice as is the choker, but....but overall...he'd prefer being dressed like his sister] My, Miss Josephine, it's... shiny.
Josephine: Why yes it is! Now, I need to do something with your hair. Sit, and don't worry, I won't cut it!
Rahal: O-okay.... [he sits, glad she at least won't cut his hair though he does need a trim]
Josephine: *wets a comb and and begins to run it through his hair* So, how are you Sir Rahal? We haven't been able to talk for awhile.
Rahal: I've been all right, I suppose. I admit I've been at a loss of what to do with myself, not having my Commander duties to tend to. [He will admit that the comb in his hair is nice]
Josephinefinishs combing and begins to pull back on it for a low ponytail* Have you met anyone special while you've been here?
Rahal: No, Lady, I'm afraid I have not. What of you, if I might be so bold?
Josephine: No, I have not. Though... Sir Mathias is quite a surprising gentleman, I had a lovely date with for that Dating game Miss Queen set up.
Rahal: Oh did you? Well, that's rather surprising. Mathias always struck me as... well, totally devoted to Lady Isabel.
Josephine: Hmmm he does, but it's always struck me as more a servent to master type of relationship.
Rahal: Yes, I suppose that's true, though I had heard they were childhood friends rather than servant and master to start. Did he ever use the phrase 'throw their loathsome corpse in the nearest body of water'?
Josephine: A couple times, but when talking about that new red haired boy, who apparently asked them to find his brother.
Rahal: Oh, you mean Sir Caesar Silverberg.
Josephine: *starts to twist a hair tie around his hair* Oh, is that his name? He's not as stylish as his brother. There. *let's go of his hair so it's a low hanging plait* There, I think that's grand!
Rahal: [touches his hair and goes back to the mirror, wishing his hair was back down. Somehow, his hair down looked better. It hid some of those ruffles...] Well, does it meet your satisfaction, Lady Josephine?
Josephine: Yes, I believe it does! Thank you Sir Rahal! *pauses* You know, you should wear your hair like that more often. You look really good with it like that.
Rahal: Do I? I've not tried many styles besides the occasional pin-up and tail.
Josephine: This is much more sensiable too, as you just grab all of your hair and then tie it up, rather than making sure you have the right amount for your usual style.
Rahal: It will take time to learn to plait my hair. The other style I'm just so used to that it's second nature.
Josephine: There's nothing too it. *gathers the things she did not use and begins to put them back* Thank you again Sir Rahal.
Rahal: Oh, not at all, Lady Josephine. [Pauses] Um, do you have a towel I might use? I'd not want to get glitter inside my clothing.
Josephine: Oh! About that? Would you mind doing another favor for me? Wear for it a day and tell me how you feel about wearing it for an extended amount of time?
Rahal: [keeps the flabbergasted look off his face] Um... Lady Josephine, I'm not sure...
Josephine: *slight pout* Please?
Rahal: But, Lady Jospehine, I really don't... it's getting rather cold out.
Josephine: *bustles off and gets a coat that matches the pants and holds it out to him* I think this would be nice. And, if you do this for me, I'll let you keep the pants.
Rahal: [Well, the pants at least were very nice indeed and if he staid in the stables or in his room...] Very well, Lady Josephine. I shall wear it for you today.
Josephine: Excellent! *takes him by the arm* Let's go show you off!
Rahal: [Damn! No, no no no no!] Ah, yes, I suppose. I will need to change though, before I see Flail.
Josephine: Then we will come back here before then, but in the mean time let's show you off to the castle!
Rahal: [resigns himself to this] As you wish, Lady Josephine.
Josephine: How Inspired! Off we go!
