Story 1 [OOC] & Meme [OOC]
Same people, same faces.
Yup, just another boring day, as viewed by the girl in the Duel Academy yellow blazer, oddly-symbol-filled shirt, and loose pants. She watched as how people walked into and out of the Cafe, quietly sipping on her iced coffee. She really didn't mind that it was cold outside and the drink would only freeze her insides even more; her body had become accustomed to it. Besides, she still felt a small flame within, residue from Guard's strength. Her strength, turned corporeal. However, the fact remained that he... or whatever Guard of Flamvell was, was gone. It wasn't there anymore, physically. All that remained was a small spark of fire, very slowly burning back into normal strength. She felt the power grow each morning, as she took her bath. It wasn't that he was gone forever, no; this was just a short goodbye. Guard would return... just depended on what form it would take.
But she digressed, and took another sip of the coffee. She wasn't there to cry in the corner. She was waiting for her friends; the ones that she, or rather, he, as Daniel, not Danielle, Lapiz-Lazuli, knew from his... or her... previous school. They had asked her to meet them for once, after reading some of her previous journal entries. They knew... They knew of her gender now, probably through all the LiveJournal pictures and comments and such. As she pondered on what they would do upon their first look on her, she took another sip.
The doors opened again as another group of kids appeared into view. They were her age, but there was somet-
She blinked. It was them. And one by one, the group of four looked at her, their eyes trying to pierce her shell, trying to find the truth behind that odd person. It didn't take long for one of the girls of the group to exclaim, rather loudly, and rush over to the nearby chair. She just looked at her eyes, and Danielle just noticed the smile grow on her face, and that smile changing into a laugh, and that laughter becoming contagious, as the other three just laughed.
Sigh. "Okay, what's up, you guys?" She just looked at them with an unamused face, but she understood what was happening. This was going to be a long but necessary reunion, she thought.
"Cute. So, I'm guessing you gave up on being a guy, huh?" One of the two guys smirked. Danielle just nodded while the other guy reprimanded him, saying "Hey! We should be supportive of hi-he-.." Completely confused and at a loss, he just looked at the floor. Suddenly, Danielle started laughing pretty darned loudly, as did the first guy, making the second's face turn a deep crimson.
The first girl just exclaimed "Haruki, you're so meek. Just relax... although I can't say that I'm very comfortable with this" as she turned to Danielle, who calmed down.
"Well, I've had a month or two to get into it, so it's not like I'm not used to people not knowing what to call me or anything." Danielle just smiled. Although it looked cuter than when he did it as a guy, it was still the same feeling that radiated from him when he did smile. It was a kind of aura of kindness and frankness that tried to make conversations a bit more informal and kind. She then took a sip of her drink and motioned to the chairs next to the table; maybe this reunion might turn out to be better than I thought...

Daniel Lapiz-Lazuli. I usually shorten it to Daniel Lazuli, as does my father, however. Also, after the whole "gender change" thing, I guess my name's Danielle Lazuli or something. Shrug.
2) Where and when were you born?
February 21, 1992. I was born in the States, Florida, to be precise.
3) Who are/were your parents? (know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
The mun considers this part mildly irrelevant to me, since their names are not necessary. Occupations are already inferrable, and their personalites are basic. They're normal people
4) Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
None. Only child.
5) Where do you live now and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
Duel Academy. Female Ra Yellow dorm. It's a single room.
6) What is your occupation?
Student. I'm planning on becoming a duelist and maybe becoming an author. I usually keep my writings hidden, however.
7) Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.

Still quite slim, but looks sturdy. Danielle is about 5"5', and exudes an energetic aura around her, even when she's doing something passive like reading a book. Her jade-green eyes often dart around instead of lazily survey the area. She still has brown hair, but it's a shade lighter, and lightly-tanned skin. As of late, her outfits have been focusing more on the colors black and pink, but, when doing something that might require activity, she often defaults to clothing similar to what she wore before the gender change.
Also, no scars... that are visible, anyhow. I've still got a small one from that time Alexandra stabbed me with a spear, though. Ow.
8) To which social class do you belong?
Middle. My father's a businessman, which led us to pretty much moving everywhere, since he wanted us to stay together.
9) Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
Dust, no, and... Well, other than not being as strong as others around me, I guess not.
10) Are you right- or left-handed?
Right. I've been daring enough to try using my left, but it's not that good.
11) What does your voice sound like?
Calm, soothing, that kind of stuff. A bit squeaky, but nothing annoying. I can't sing to save my life, though. :|
12) What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
Like (I'm amazed I use it this much. I don't do the "I, like, like stuff and stuff!" thing, but it's something I still do a lot.), boredom (I like to do stuff almost constantly, geez. I need to be active to feel I'm not wasting time, people.), "Hurry up!", fire (mostly when I'm talking about fire-attribute duel monsters.)
13) What do you have in your pockets?
Umm... a pen, a bag with two gummy bears in it, my music player, a framed copy of Thestalos, a key, my school ID, a folded piece of paper that a friend and I were using to write notes in class, and my PDA.
14) Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I hate loneliness, so I try to push it away by surrounding myself with people. I'm still pretty boy-ish, but I jump between the two pretty often and quickly. I tend to bother Jinn almost unconsciously now as a way to say "Hi"; I hope he's not going to kill me for it eventually... ;~;
