Pairing: Haehyuk

Genre: fluff

Disclaimer: It is my regret and sorrow that I cannot own these funny, cute, HOT, and awesome boys.

Summary: Hyukjae is forced to find a new method to get into his college after being rejected. With the help of his friend, Sungmin (and an evil genius), he finally gets in - in a creative way.

Even after proper introductions and handshakes, eating and talking about random girlie things, I was still staring at Donghae’s face.

God, how can he be this handsome? And why was I drooling over him like it was my first time seeing this guy?! Fine, the view from the closet can’t compare to seeing him up close, so I had no idea that he was this hot, but still, you’re a man for God’s sake, staring at him like this… you have no shame, do you??

“Eunhyuk, is Donghae oppa that handsome? You’ve been staring at him ever since I introduced you to him,” Jessica giggled.

I woke from my thoughts. “Hmm?”

Some guys snickered. A girl - what was her name? Hyoyeon? - grinned at me as if I was the best joke ever in her life. I also saw Donghae grinning at me. I turned away, embarrassed.

Of course, Donghae didn’t know I was the one in the closet, the person he had talked to in the dance studio. Heck, he didn’t even know what gender I was.

Jessica, after teasing me, continued her chit chat about some topic I had no interest on, so I decided to stare at a tree to entertain myself. When it was decided that I had drilled enough holes into it, I chose a different tree to analyze.

Gah, this is so boring. I yawned. Talk about these earrings you got for a great deal, this new jacket she bought at a cheap price, those coolest shoes, that cute bunny in the store they saw, geez. I snorted in my mind. How do girls do this all the time? And what’s worse is that they still continue talking on their phones…

I looked at the guys who were with us. Yup, they were bored to death. Why are you people with them if you’re gonna get bored, huh? At least I have an excuse, aish… perhaps you idiots thought you were gonna get pampered?? In a million years…

I glanced at Donghae. He looked bored as well, but since Jessica was always dragging him into the conversation, he smiled every now and then. Fake smiles, I can see through, he has no interest in what they’re talking about at all. He yawned. Well, he doesn’t seem like the type to follow girls around like these other idiots, hmm? Perhaps he got dragged in? I yawned as well.

Suddenly, Donghae looked my way, our eyes meeting. This is the third time he’s looked at me. But why should I care? We stared at each other for about ten seconds. Then he winked at me.

Wha…? What was that about?!

I fumed in my seat, refusing to look in his direction for the rest of the talking.

After two hours, I was really dying of boredom.

Since the guys were really bored and because they’re guys, they pretty soon left one by one, just leaving Donghae and us girls. Well, technically, it’s us guys and the girls. Ahh, so boring…

Jessica suddenly stood up, looking at her watch. “Oppa! We’ll be late for the party! We have to go now!” She tugged Donghae impatiently.

I looked up. “Huh? Where are you going?”

“We got invited to a friend’s party. And we really do need to hurry, oppa.” So that means I am free?!

“Ok, have fun at your party!” I said, not sincere at all, just overjoyed that I’m now free. Unintentionally, I smiled at Donghae. Ooh, bad mistake.

He saw and winked at me. “See you later.”

“What a player,” I muttered, looking away.

He grinned wider and leaned closer to me. “You’re cute when you’re embarrassed.” He smirked, eyes piercing into mine. Oh ho ho, you want to mess with me huh? How unfortunate that my first impressions were so wrong…

“Oppa!” Jessica looked at us and pouted. “You’re making me jealous!”

Taking this chance, I pushed him from me. “Yah, idiot, you’re making her jealous! Go already!” Donghae grinned and Jessica dragged him away.

“Bye!” Jessica waved as she and Donghae left. I sighed. Finally, I can go.

“Come on, Eunhyuk-sshi! Forget Jessica! She’s going to regret leaving us!” a girl I don’t know her name grabbed my hand, smiling. “Let’s go to my dorm!”

EH?

“Oh, did you get that new pink nail polish, Seohyunnie?”

“Yup!”

“Ah, let’s play with it!!”

“C’mon Eunhyuk-sshi, it’ll be fun! Let’s make Sica jealous hehe,” said Hyoyeon. Before I knew it, they were already pulling me to the girl’s dorms. I groaned inside of my head.

Oh well. Might as well learn all their names if I have the chance.

(A/N: ah, I don’t know if girls do play with nail polish, but whatever they’re doing is girl stuff, so you can imagine it, ok? Hehe)

When Jessica’s friends seemed satisfied after torturing me by putting on many layers of makeup, drowning me in perfume, pinning my hair up into a bunch of styles, and painting my nails into designs that I thought impossible, I was finally able to go home. Just sitting there and acting like a life sized Barbie was worse than sitting there listening to Jessica talk. Almost.

On the way to my dorm, my stomach growled, so I made a turn and went to the food area. How do girls eat so little anyways, I thought, thinking about the meal I ate with them earlier. No wonder they’re so skinny…

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn’t see the person in front of me. We bumped into each other, the force making us fall down. I looked up and saw the person groaning. Oh, this is bad…

“Ah, I’m so sorry sir!! Are you ok? Of course you’re not… aish,” I pulled him up to his feet. His eyes didn’t focus for a moment and when he finally saw me, he glared down at me with full force.

“Yah, kid, watch where you’re going! What would happen if I broke an arm or leg, eh?!! You know what would happen?!! I’ll show you…” he raised his arm, about to bash me. I winced, waiting for the pain to come.

It never did. What I felt was a hand patting my head.

“Aw, why are you like this, hyung? And besides, she’s a girl,” a familiar voice said. I looked up in horror, right into Donghae’s smiling face. “You ok?”

“Y-yeah,” I said, shocked and embarrassed at the same time.

“Hmph,” the man who had fallen said. He looked at me and messed my hair. “See ya, kiddo.” He waved, smiling, and walked off.

I stared in shock at what just happened. Donghae grinned. “Don’t worry, Kangin hyung just has a really bad temper. I think he likes you,” he said.

I smiled, gums showing. “Thank you.”

“No problem.” He smiled again, ruffling my hair. Seeing his smile made me feel so good, light and happy. We stood there, smiling at each other. Then…

“YAH!!!WHY ARE YOU SMILING LIKE AN IDIOT?! AND WHY ARE YOU MESSING UP MY HAIR!! AISH!” I brushed his hand off, glaring.

Donghae chuckled. “So, you’re that girl from Jessica’s group? Hmm, no wonder you were so familiar. That temper of yours,” he leaned in closer to me, “is hard to forget. Shall I teach you how to control it?”

I punched his shoulder, sending him away from me. “YAH! YOU PERVERTED IDIOT!!!! I’ll control what I want to control!! Instead, you should control that perverted behavior of yours!!” I slapped his head slightly, realizing that I sounded lame. Control what I want to control? Geez…

He pouted. “It hurts.”

I rolled my eyes. Geez, you’re a man. I really don’t want to tell you to grow up.

Donghae studied me. “Getting all dolled up for your date?” he asked, smirking.

“Would you like me to punch you again?”

“No thanks.” He caressed my face, leaning closer and closer, until we were breathing into each other’s faces. One more inch and I would kiss him. “You wouldn’t want to stare at my face if it has bruises all over, right?”

I stared deeply into his eyes. “Of course not,” I said softly, and glanced at his lips. He saw me looking and pulled me in closer. We closed our eyes…

I kicked him, making him hiss in pain. I really don’t want to tell you where I kicked him.

He glared at me. “What the hell was that for?!”

I smirked. “Hmm, I don’t know?” I bent down to Donghae, who was crouching on the floor now, and whispered.

“Just to let you know, you’ve chosen the wrong girl to play with.”

“…and that is the lesson for today, class. Go work on you assignments,” the teacher said. The class became noisy again.

I yawned. I was in my English class, not enjoying it at all. One look at my textbook and I wanted to sleep. Aish, all these verbs…

I stared out the window and saw some guys dribbling a basketball. Oh, how I want to join them so badly… to be a guy and sweat again.

I looked at my textbook again. Past tense of read? Is it readed?? I yawned again.

Someone flicked my head. I turned around, facing Minnie. Kyu, being an evil genius, finishing his work already, sat beside Minnie, playing his PSP, probably killing zombies or something.

“Yah, do your work. You’re acting too much like a delinquent,” Minnie hissed. Then he continued to work on his assignment.

I spun around again, and wrote a few answers down. After a few minutes, I sighed. This is not working for me…

I turned back again. “Kyu.”

The evil brat raised an eyebrow, not looking up. “What?”

“Give me your paper,” I whispered.

He passed it to me. Minnie just sighed, shaking his head in disbelief.

“What kind of girl asks the guy behind her for the answers?” I grinned.

I became the second person to finish the assignment.

Thursday. My schedule is like this, dance and science on day one, no classes - a break - on day two, English on day three. The cycle restarts. I messed my hair, my wig, and yawned. It’s only 6:02 in the morning.

I sleepily brushed my teeth, fixed the tangles in my wig, and put on a T-shirt and jeans. I yawned again as I walked out the bathroom, and faced Jessica, standing right in front of me, still in her pajamas.

She smiled. “Hey, Eunhyukkie.” I smiled back. Ah, wait, Eunhyukkie?

She must have saw my confused expression or read my thoughts, since she said, “I thought it was cute. Can I call you that, huh?” I nodded, still too sleepy.

As I sat on my bed, slipping on my socks and sneakers, Jessica watched me. She moved closer. “Where are you going this early, Eunhyukkie?”

“Dance?” I yawned. She nodded, like trying to figure out a problem or something. I stared at her.

“Something wrong?”

“No… just… can I come with you today?”

I raised my eyebrow. Not being talkative, waking up early in the morning, coming with me to dance class, what’s going on?

She glanced at me and looked away hastily. “I-I thought maybe I would get closer with Eunhyukkie? And besides, you had fun with my friends last time. Without me. I’m sooo jealous,” she whined, pouting.

Fun? Was it? I would call it torture, I thought, sarcasm dripping on my words. I shrugged. “Sure.”

She grinned. “Let me change, ok?” She took out her clothes and began stripping right in front of me. I panicked. Ah this is really…..

“I’M GOING TO WAIT OUTSIDE, OK?!” I raced out the door. Aish, yelling this early in the morning, people would think you’re crazy. You’re really an idiot, Hyukjae…

I paced back and forth, waiting for her, until Jessica finally popped out. She was smiling. “Let’s go.”

We walked to the studio, with her talking about the party she and Donghae went to, the disgusting drink she had to drink for a dare, the pretty dresses the girls had worn, how hot the guys were, etc, etc. I yawned again. She sounds like her usual self again…

As we arrived closer to the studio, I suddenly remembered Donghae. That perverted guy… will he come to the studio today? But if he does, will he think I’m the person in the closet? But he wouldn’t know, right? But still… ahh… I can’t be embarrassed like this in front of Jessica!!!

We stopped in front of the studio. Jessica looked at the door. “This is the classroom? They let you practice without the teacher?”

“Uh, this is where the students practice. Classroom’s over there,” I pointed across the hall.

She nodded. “Are we going to come in?” Ah, about that…

“I forgot my key. You need one to get in,” I lied, hoping to go somewhere else.

Jessica frowned, thinking. “Was it the key they gave to you on registration day if you were a dance student?”

I nodded. “Yeah, that’s it. Uh… you have it?”

“Nope, I left it back at the dorm too,” she said, shaking her head.

Yes! “So, you want to go somewhere else?”

“Hmm, it’s almost seven anyways, so let’s go get breakfast,” Jessica said. Agreed!

We turned back, where the food area was, and walked straight into Donghae.

A/N: aish, Eunhae’s first official meeting, but I made Hyukkie hate Donghae already T_T ah, oh well, things should get better soon…
