Title: Wrong Identity 7/?
Pairing: Haehyuk
Genre: fluff
Disclaimer: It is my regret and sorrow that I cannot own these funny, cute, HOT, and awesome boys.
Summary: Hyukjae is forced to find a new method to get into his college after being rejected. With the help of his friend, Sungmin (and an evil genius), he finally gets in - in a creative way.

“Stop following me, you idiot.”
“Why should I?”
“Because I don’t like you?” I glared at Donghae.
“Aw, Hyukkie doesn’t like me anymore?” Donghae smirked and continued to walk behind me, a distance that is not too far but not too close either. I sighed.
“I still don’t get why you’re following me.”
“Hey, you should be honored that the great Lee Donghae is walking with you,” he replied. “And who says I was following you? My destination just happens to be along the route where you’re walking.”
“. . .”
We continued to stroll through the campus.
Turned left.
Went straight.
Made a right. I had a weird feeling about this. . . . .
And we ended up in front of the studio.
Donghae raised his eyebrow at me. “Who was following who again?”
“AISH!” I tousled my hair. “Just go in, I’ll practice another day, I’ll go meet Minnie or someone...”
Before I had a chance to step away, Donghae pulled me in and the door was closed behind me. Great, now I have to share the stupid dance room with the stupid idiot.
We sat down awkwardly on the cold hard floor. I tried to avoid his eyes and ended up looking in my lap.
“Oh, my Hyukkie is shy being in the same room as me?” Donghae teased. “Or is it because we’re alone together in a big room?”
“Shut up,” I frowned. I stretched my legs out in front of me. “Why did you make me come with you? I wouldn’t have disturbed your dancing time.”
Donghae was silent for a minute, something I found unexpected. I thought he might have come up with some superior reply. Just as I was about to ask him something else, he spoke.
“I didn’t really come in here to dance. More like to think about something, so I kinda felt bad about taking your dance time away,” he admitted.
“Oh, so the awesome Lee Donghae knows how to feel guilty?” I answered sarcastically.
“Yeah, and you’re good at dancing, I could see that you practiced a lot and HEY YOU JUST ADMITTED THAT I AM AWESOME,” he grinned, pointing his finger at me.
“Yeah, and you also admitted that I am good at dancing,” I said.
“Yeah, and… oh,” he finally realized.
“You’re really an idiot,” I smirked and bashed his head playfully.
We just sat there, but the silence wasn’t that awkward anymore and I kinda felt that he wasn’t that annoying anymore. Kinda. Just a little. The room had no walls, just mirrors, so I could see his face as if he was thinking about something.
“You know, have you ever felt admired before?” Donghae suddenly asked.
“. . . How the heck should I answer that??”
“Aish, don’t pretend Hyukkie, there are a lot of people in class that like your dancing,” he said. Donghae ruffled his hair. “How should I say this… there was this kid that watched me dance once…”
Oh. Shoot.
“But, you see, this person was hiding in a closet.”
I’m dead.
“And guess what?” He turned around and pointed to the closet behind us. “It was even this exact closet.”
I know, Donghae. I hid in there.
“And for about two or three hours, the kid watched me dance. My dancing was probably horrible, but whoever it was still sat there.”
Like I had any other choice. And no, it was good actually.
“Did… this person… come up to you and confessed that… he or she… watched you dance?” I asked.
“Well, no,” Donghae admitted.
“Then how would you know there’s a person in the closet?” I pointed out, talking carefully.
He scratched his head. “I kinda felt a connection.”
I looked at him in disbelief. “What?”
“It was like telepathy.”
“And?”
“Aish, it’s hard to explain,” Donghae frowned. “I just walked into this studio one day, danced, and felt someone staring at me, although I was alone that day. Ok?”
I nodded, still uncertain. “Di… d-did you know who it was?”
“No.”
I sighed in relief, making Donghae look at me strangely. “Why, you’re so disappointed that I couldn’t find that person?” Donghae chuckled. “You’re really weird, I’m not that desperate to find him.”
My eyes widened. “Him?”
“Oh yeah, here,” he said, searching for something in his backpack. “The guy left this behind, that’s how I also knew that there was someone here and that it’s a boy.”
He handed me my CD.
“It doesn’t tell you much just by looking, but I could tell it’s a guy by the songs on it,” Donghae exclaimed proudly. “And plus, the CD was warm when I touched it, like it had been played recently.”
“These songs aren’t what girls usually listen to, and I recognize a lot of them too. He has good taste.” Donghae smiled widely at me. “You’re impressed by my awesome detective skills, aren’t you?”
“Yeah,” I muttered. I fingered the CD, pretending to study it as if I have never seen it before. Amazingly, there was not even a single scratch, and all the oily fingerprints had disappeared. He must’ve have taken good care of it. Wow…
“Oh yeah, I cleaned it and kept it in a protective cover so it wouldn’t damage,” Donghae explained.
“Are you planning to return it to him?” I asked.
“Of course. Well, I don’t know. But then, he might have made a new one, so I’m keeping it until he claims it. He knows how I look like of course,” Donghae grinned. “I am super handsome, the whole world knows it.”
“And the whole universe knows how stupid you are,” I rolled my eyes. I gave the CD back to Donghae. “Here you go. Take care of it, he might sue you if you damage it or something.”
“Uh huh, that’s something only you would do,” he replied sarcastically. He gazed at the CD happily. “I really wish I can meet him. Don’t you want to meet him too, Hyukkie? I haven’t met him yet, but I think he’s an awesome guy.”
Yeah. I want that to happen too.

* * *
After dance class ended, the class started packing up. As I was about to go ahead and ditch Donghae, the dance instructor called me over. “Eunhyuk-sshi. Come here for a minute, I would like to talk to you.”
I walked over to where he was standing. He smiled proudly and gave me a thick packet. “I’ve been thinking for over the past week or so, and out of all my students, I’ve finally decided to choose you,” he told me happily.
“Really??” I asked, my eyes widening. I took the packet. “Thank you sir… but what did you choose me for?”
“Oh, I forgot to tell you,” he laughed. “You’ve been chosen to represent our university for the dance competition. There will be all the schools from Seoul and other cities participating as well, and it’s very competitive since you’ll be against other students all over Korea.”
“But don’t worry, there are other students that I will choose so that we can have a good dance team. It’s because you’re a special one that I told you first,” he explained.
“Oh… wow… thank you so much,” I grinned. “It will be a great honor to represent the school sir.”
“Yes, and I’ll give out more information later. That booklet is just to let you know more about the competition,” he smiled. “Have a good day, Eunhyuk-ssi.”
“You too, sir,” I replied happily, walking out the studio.
Awesome. I get to participate in this dance contest thingy, I thought proudly. Minnie will be really happy to know about this, and I need to tell Heechul hyung too…
My phone suddenly buzzed in my pocket. I took it out and saw that I had a text message from someone.

Eunhyukkie!! Wanna go out for movies with Yoona and Hyoyeon? Let’s meet somewhere over at the big tree near the parking lot, and call me ok? :)
-Jessica

I stared at the screen for a while, trying to see if there’s some other meaning girls put in their texts. I chewed on it for another minute or two and decided that it was just a movie. No party on the way or anything. Right?
I sighed and pressed Jessica’s number on my phone.
“…Hello? This is Jessica speaking.”
“Hey Jessica.”
“Eunhyuk! So, are you going to come to the movies with us?”
“Yeah, I guess so. What time you want us to meet?”
She paused for a bit, and then answered. “How about six?”
“Sure, see you later. I’m guessing you’re not going to return to the dorm?”
“No, I have some classes, I won’t be able to go there.”
“Ok, bye.”
“Bye, Eunhyuk.” We hung up and I immediately called Minnie.
“Yeah, Hyuk.”
“Can you get me ready for tonight? I’m going to the movies with Jessica and the others.”
“Can’t you do it on your own Hyuk?” Minnie sounded irritated. I thought about something for a minute.
“Hyuk? Are you still there?”
“What are you doing with Kyu now?”
“Nothing, nothing, come over whenever you want, ok?” Sungmin said quickly.
“Thanks Minnie,” I grinned.
“Whatever.”
He hung up, and I quickly ran over to where the boys’ dorm is.
