just now while walking home from school I was overcome with a strong sense that today was friday. though I normally welcome fridays with open arms, on this occasion I was discouraged because it would mean I'm 48hrs more behind on assignments than I already am. then, after a few seconds, I was relieved to discover that today is wednesday ( Read more... )

is why I love you! Brilliant! I do the same thing, eating out things that could destroy the texture or taste of the rest of the meal. It's not like I enjoy homogeneous food, it's just that certain things belong in pasta sauce. Carrots, do not, but they add vitamins and nutrients and fiber. Corn certainly does not, but people add it because they are from the Corn Belt and they don't know any better.

I love the rush of decisions made, even the slightest decision, a binary one, like '0= get up and disturb the class and pee' and '1=sit through whole class without getting up'. It could only go one way, and I am the sole decider of the outcome. My body will try to react alone, my muscles spasming to get up, but my mind doesn't agree, so I sit. Then out of nowhere, I am walking out the door. It's exciting! I like to do everything last minute until my choice is made for me, regarding schoolwork.
